2017 Contest Rules are below. Stay tuned for additional opportunities.

How to participate:

Create a poster about celebrating good character. Entrants may use crayon, markers, paint, colored pencils or any other traditional two dimensional art medium and then produce a high-resolution scan for submission. Digital creations are also acceptable. The dimensions of your design must be scalable to 11” by 13” in portrait orientation. Complete the digital application form at and follow the art submission directions to enter your design.

Deadline – Submissions must be received by 5:00 PM on November 16, 2017.



The contest is open to all ages. Any person under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission to enter.  Winner must reside in Eastern Washington (State).

Submissions will be judged by the PACE Board of Directors or a committee designated by the board.


Three designs will be chosen as winners and awarded cash prizes as follows:

First place – $100

Second place – $50

Third place – $25

If a winner is disqualified or if a prize is unclaimed, PACE reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or to not award that winner’s prize, at its sole discretion.


All entries become property of PACE to be used for promotional or other purposes. PACE reserves the right to alter any design that is submitted.


Each winner (and such winner’s parent or guardian if any winner is under the age of 18) agrees to permit PACE to use his/her name and likeness in promotional and other PACE materials, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
