Ian Robertson
PACE would like to thank and recognize Ian Robertson, recently-retired pastor of Central United Methodist Church, and current director of Christian Service Team as our Partner of the Month. Ian was on board the moment he heard about PACE several years ago, and he’s been sharing character education ever since. He’s provided the invocation at the 2013 and 2014 PACE Awards and Ian asks Spokane Valley Chamber breakfast attendees, “What is the character trait of the month?” before he begins the invocation at the monthly Business Connections meeting.
Even though he’s officially “retired,” he’s very active and involved in the community as the unofficial chaplain at Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and vice chair at Community-Minded Enterprises. He is also working with other faith-based leaders on a project called Christian Service Team. Wherever he’s present, Ian raises awareness of the importance of good character and encourages partnerships with local congregations and PACE to share the significant traits of character in the community.
