Sponsor the character trait of the month!
To achieve our goal of strengthening relationships between PACE partners, schools, students, and their parents, in the 19/20 school year, West Plains PACE is securing ten, one-month sponsorships from our PACE partners.
Students from 18 schools in the Cheney, Medical Lake and Davenport districts are recognized each month. At the elementary level, they are recognized during a monthly awards assembly. Students receive their award along with a silicone, PACE wristband, provided thanks to our Partner’s sponsorship
The PACE Partner’s support will be announced at the assemblies and we ask each school to recognize the Partner’s support in their monthly newsletter. A one month sponsorship is just $200 and covers all 18 schools in the Cheney, Medical Lake and Davenport Districts.

Partner Best Practices
PACE Partners are a vital component to the success of the PACE initiative to promote the importance of good character. Three local organizations are honored each year with a PACE Partner Best Practice Award for their diligent work to support and promote good character across the Spokane Valley.
Explore the practices below to learn how PACE Partners show their commitment to character development in our communities.
Sponsor
Many of our Partners elect to provide sponsorships throughout the year.
Some provide one-time support for our recurring events such as the PACE Awards, Educators Workshops, or World Character Days.
Others elect to provide general operational support as Friends of PACE
Lead
Members of our Partner organizations provide monthly guest columns, discussing the importance of the character trait of the month.
They include the trait of the month in internal communications and newsletters and discuss ways to exemplify it during staff meetings.
They work with PACE and schools to design events that support character development.
Display
Our Partners utilize reader boards to present character traits of the month to the community.
They use PACE posters and other promotional items around the office.
They include the PACE logo, links, and information about character traits and development on their websites.
