Once again PACE Partner KiDDS Dental helped celebrate good citizenship by supporting troops overseas. The 9th Annual Great Candy Buy Back was held at KiDDS Dental in Liberty Lake resulting in over 1000 pounds of candy collected – all of which is on its way to our active military along with letters and pictures of thanks to troops through Operation Gratitude.
Here it is by the numbers:
1083 lbs of candy collected.
168 families in attendance.
364 participating children.

Dr. Jared Evans reports that military members often use the candy to help connect with children in the areas in which they are serving, helping make the region a little less hostile. “In an indirect way, we are promoting goodwill abroad.” What a great way to promote international citizenship!
