Mark your calendars! Next month, you and your Trick-or-Treaters are invited to help celebrate good citizenship by supporting troops overseas. The 8th Annual Great Candy Buy Back will be held at KiDDS Dental in Liberty Lake on November 2, 2015, from 4pm to 8pm.
Please consider letting your little ghosts and goblins enjoy a little of their loot, save a few pieces for the next few days, then donate the excess for cash – $1 per pound! Dr. Jared Evans reports that military members often use the candy to help connect with children in the areas in which they are serving, helping make the region a little less hostile. “In an indirect way, we are promoting goodwill abroad.” What a great way to promote international citizenship!
