Family Runs the Portland Marathon to Support Teen Closet; Over $2700 raised.
After teaching at Cheney Middle School for over 25 years, Aaron Mason, knows there are many student needs, and students in foster care face additional challenges. One of those areas of need is clothing that is “their clothes, their style, and their choice” – a need which is met by Teen Closet. Mr. Mason and his family ran the Portland Marathon this fall to support this important local organization that provides foster teens in the Inland Northwest with free, stylish clothing – demonstrating the character trait of this month, caring, can be a family affair.
