PACE Partner of the Month: STCU

The PACE leadership team would like recognize STCU as the Partner of the Month for February.
STCU is a long-time partner and supporter of PACE. From financial gifts to gifts of time, STCU can be counted on to support our community. This year they will be a supporter of the 2017 PACE Awards for the Spokane Valley chapter AND the West Plains chapter.
Since 2014 STCU has sponsored a program called Volunteers Count that encourages employees to give of their time to non-profits and community organizations. PACE is fortunate to have on our board STCU’s Erik Puthoff. Because of this STCU program and his work with PACE he was able to apply for a grant on behalf of PACE. We are pleased to announce this application resulted in a $1,000 gift from STCU to the West Plains Chapter of PACE, in connection, too, with the STCU Season of Giving.

PACE President Melanie Rose, Board Member Erik Puthoff, and PACE Coordinator, West Plains, Jessica Deutsch. Eric surprised us with this gift at the December board meeting.

From the STCU Facebook page: “As a part of our Season of Giving, Erik helped deliver a $1,000 grant to PACE Partners Advancing Character Education. These grants are given in recognition of our employees’ dedication to volunteering for these organizations outside of work hours. PACE works to bring character education to local schools, helping guide students towards being #HereForGood everyday.”

Thank you STCU for the gifts, your commitment to the community and to PACE!
